The Understudy by David Nicholls - 2005 First Edition Hardback

This is a beautiful, collectible First Edition Hardback of The Understudy by David Nicholls (2005, Hodder & Stoughton), in excellent condition. Perfect for fans of witty British fiction, literary romantic comedy, and bestselling authors. Follow the story of struggling actor Stephen C. McQueen, understudy to the 12th Sexiest Man in the World, Josh Harper. Stephen’s disastrous career and even worse love life take a chaotic turn when he falls for Josh’s clever, funny wife, Nora. It’s a wonderfully relatable and uplifting story about ambition, jealousy, and the thin line between comedy and tragedy in show business. A fantastic find for collectors of David Nicholls’ work, especially those who loved Starter for Ten or the worldwide phenomenon One Day (now a popular Netflix series - capitalise on the trending author!). A quality hardcover book that looks great on any bookshelf
