Mac Drank the Love Potion is a muted, medium-dark red with cooler undertones and a smattering of fuchsia and pink pearl throughout a more cream-like finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff that applied evenly but settled into my lip lines enough to be noticeable in person (despite having a very high-shine finish).
The texture was smooth, moderately tacky, and a little thicker, which made it longer-wearing but may feel heavy for those who aren't familiar with the formula (which is known for its tackiness). It wore well for six hours and felt hydrating while worn.
